Hey there, Toronto foodies! Have you heard? The Toronto Food and Drink Fest is right around the corner and will be arriving in the city this April. Trust me, if you love food, drinks, and good vibes, this is the place to be.

The fun starts on Friday with a fancy little preview for industry folks, media peeps, and VIPs from 3 PM to 5 PM. But don’t worry—the doors open to everyone else at 5 PM and stay open until 10 PM.

Saturday has two time slots for us regular folk: 12 PM to 5 PM and 5 PM to 10 PM, so you can pick what works best for you. And Sunday is the grand finale from 12 PM until 6 PM.

Now, here’s the scoop on what’s happening. There’ll be live cooking demos from some of Toronto’s culinary geniuses. Think of guys like Tre Sanderson, Raquel Fox, Noel Cunningham, Javon Cummins, and Devan Rajkumar.

And if you think all those demos will make you go hungry, don’t worry because the event will also serve some delicious food! Flavour Street is where the magic will happen, with food trucks serving all kinds of mouthwatering dishes.

They promise to make the prices quite reasonable, with most bites and drinks costing around $5, so you can try a lot without breaking the bank. Thankfully, most vendors will take contactless payments, so you probably won’t need to fumble for cash.

Aside from cooking demos and food trucks, the Toronto Food and Drink Fest will also feature wine-tasting sessions with local winemakers. Some notable examples include Ferox by Fabian Reis, Beaujolais, and Wondermak Makgeolli.

And if cocktails are more your thing, they also have classes where you can learn how to mix like a pro. I’m most certainly planning on attending one of these, even though my shaker skills need a bit of work.

Oh, and the music! There is going to be a DJ lounge for those laid-back vibes and live performances to keep you grooving while you wander. I’m quite excited to hear what their guest DJs IAMSETDOE, Ace Dillinger, and Beat Sampras have in store.

Tickets are on sale now, and here’s a pro tip: grab them early! They’re just $18 if you buy before March 28, and trust me, they’re going to go fast. Each day has limited tickets, so don’t wait too long.

Final heads up—this is strictly a 19+ event, so bring your ID to avoid any awkwardness at the door.
